We live in an area rich with natural beauty, where cowpokes collide and collude with hippies and beach bums, and where the farthest left and farthest right have both taken up residence. It's a weird place and wonderful. (Mind you, ritzyville will also be nifty -- with forest -- if we are lucky!)

For scenery, we have misty beaches, sunny beaches, rocky mountainous areas, rolling tawny hills resembling the flanks of recumbent lions, wildflowers (especially poppies and mustard!), and loads of exciting wildlife.

We were just talking about this... Greg had spoken about coming to see us and we found a restaurant we think he'd dig. Heck, anyone would. It's a dive to look at it, but yummmm. It's called Taco Temple and it's in Morro Bay or Atascadero. (Cities fade into one another... but it's not like L.A.'s sprawl, because it's not urban anywhere here.)

Thank you much for your well wishes on BOTH life-goals-du-jour. :)Duckshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13340492286877577729noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1015963187078742471.post-70065262629500455242009-06-30T15:40:28.428-07:002009-06-30T15:40:28.428-07:00Awesome about the interview!
