Eco uh-oh

No matter how carefully you try to shop, manufacturers will still come up with something horrid to put into the products you purchase. However, micro-plastics are kind of on the useless, annoying & evil end of the spectrum (who wants to scratch their tuckus while bathing?!) and ... well, I don't know if any of you ever thought about them being there, but I didn't give much thought to it (aside from preferring soap without them).

Yuck! Makes me glad I use just regular-a** soap.

The best part is their assertion that the plastic will be taken out by sewage treatment plants, or barring that, it's just not a big deal. In other words: someone else's problem and cost to deal with. It's the traditional externalizing of environmental costs.

Yuck, yuck, yuck!

Yes, I was shocked. I just plain don't like them: Pat finds them scratchy and annoying, and, well, I detest finding textures where I don't expect them (gritty soap that is not for removing auto grease for my hands -- hello Lava, I still love you -- is one of those things). But I never, ever thought about what they might be made of.

The world could use a lot more regular-a** consumer products right now. How about an honest cup of coffee?

Have fun with the Mara-Mara truck!
